Le 10 avril, Enter Shikari ont frappé fort et sans prévenir. Sans teaser, sans single préalable, sans aucune communication, le groupe britannique a mis en ligne leur nouvel album « Lose Your Self » via So Recordings, disponible immédiatement en streaming mais également en CD et vinyle physique.

Une démarche rare et volontaire, parfaitement résumée par le chanteur Rou : le groupe souhaitait que l’auditeur vive l’album comme une oeuvre cohérente et totale, sans être conditionné par des extraits sortis de leur contexte. 12 titres qui explorent la désolation et le désespoir face à l’état du monde, tout en laissant filtrer des lueurs d’espoir. Fort de plus de 3000 concerts à travers le monde, de têtes d’affiche à Glastonbury, Download et Reading & Leeds, et d’un numéro 1 pour leur précédent album, Enter Shikari confirment avec ce geste leur statut de groupe véritablement à part dans le paysage rock actuel.
